Advancing Cardiovascular Care

Located at the gateway of the world's largest concentration of research and healthcare institutions, Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute,, represents the first freestanding heart and vascular hospital in the Texas Medical Center. The Institute's continuum of heart and vascular care, health services and patient amenities, coupled with spectacular design, make it the most modern hospital of its kind in Texas. The fully digital facility affords access to innovative solutions in cardiovascular care designed to produce improved patient outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.

An aggressive plan overseen by Irvine Team met the logistical challenges of tight construction conditions in an active hospital environment. A revolutionary project amid the world's largest concentration of research and healthcare institutions, Irvine Team led the 165,000 square foot design + construction of an eight-story patient facility, two below-ground levels, a valet parking surface expansion, an extension of an existing sky bridge and the development of a new sky bridge. The fully digital Institute encompasses cutting-edge catheterization labs, diagnostic facilities, a dedicated pharmacy and advanced imaging modalities on patient floors.
