Inspiring the Arts

Houston Ballet Center for Dance,, develops world-class talent and inspires an appreciation for dance. The new downtown home for the nation's fourth-largest ballet company and acclaimed ballet academy features rehearsal studios that replicate on-stage environments and a black box theatre for dance labs, performances and recitals. Dual-purpose patron areas, with tranquil views of natural areas, accommodate social and fund-raising events. A sky bridge connects to one of the premier performance stages in the country.

Irvine Team is leading the design + construction of a six-level high-rise structure to house the ballet, its academy and administrative staff. Creative design solutions will enhance the facility’s functionality, address acoustical challenges and maximize space utilization for eight rehearsal studios.
