Memorial Hermann Mischer Neurosciences Institute, www.memorialhermann.org, the largest provider of neuroscience care in south Texas, represents a world-class facility for the research and treatment of brain and spinal cord illnesses and injuries. Patients from around the globe come to the Institute for treatment from acclaimed clinicians, researchers and educators who are transforming the field of neuroscience. The Institute is Texas' first and one of the nation's few institutions to fully integrate neurology, neurosurgery and neuro-rehabilitation in complementary programs offered through distinguished centers of excellence.

The Institute, built as part of a two-phase master plan led by Irvine Team, encompassed 120,000 square feet on four contiguous floors and the construction of 30,000 square feet of additional facilities. Existing mechanical and technical systems were also renovated to state-of-the-art status.
